TITLE: Mathematics Teacher – Special Education LOCATION: Pole Campus, Norwich, NY REPORTS: Building Principal TERMS: 10 months, Full-time QUALIFICATIONS: Certified in Mathematics 7-12 or eligible to receive New York State teacher certification in Mathematics 7-12, and Special Education RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Plans and provides for appropriate Mathematical experiences aligned with NYS Learning Standards. Responsible for co-planning and co-teaching with instructors to deliver commencement level curriculum. Successful candidate will possess strong classroom management skills, develop positive student/teacher relationship, and utilize creative and flexible instructional practices. SALARY/BENEFITS: Starting salary $55,243 - $79,266 per year. Competitive pay and benefits based on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
