TITLE:Health Occupational Coordinator LOCATION:BOCES wide; Alan D. Pole Campus, Norwich, NY; Robert W. Harrold Campus, Sidney Center, NY REPORTS:Director or Career and Technical Education TERMS:12 month - Full-timeQUALIFICATIONS:Comprehensive knowledge of professional nursing techniques and relation to medical surgical practices; active and current NYS Registered Nursing License with two (2) years of experience; current Health Professional CPR certification; Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Must be willing to enroll in a master’s program. Fingerprinting clearance Minimum of one (1) year of caring for the elderly and/or chronically ill Required immunizations for the hospital setting Valid driver’s license.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Provides leadership in managing and implementing a comprehensive postsecondary adult health occupations program, supporting departmental goals in order to assure compliance with programmatic accreditation and/or licensure, internal consistency, and graduate outcomes that meet workplace and placement expectations; participates in budget preparation and fiscal administration, curriculum development and coordination, general supervision of faculty, handbook development and selection/coordination of program specific external clinical facilities and instruction; provides professional leadership and support for teaching faculty; serves as a mentor and facilitator for faculty assigned; and enables an environment which fosters creativity, responsiveness, and self-responsibility, and teach health related programs.SALARY/BENEFITS:Starting salary range $81,800 - $109,300; benefits based on BAA contract.STARTING DATE:As soon as possible In addition to applying on OLASTO APPLY:Send cover letter, resume, and DCMO BOCES application.
