TITLE:Security and Law InstructorLOCATION:Pole Campus; Norwich, NYHarold Campus; Masonville, NYREPORTS:PrincipalTERMS:Full-time, 10 monthsQUALIFICATIONS:Certified or eligible to receive New York State teacher’s certification in security operations. Minimum of four years appropriate career experience required. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Selected candidate will be responsible for delivery of a career education curriculum to high school and adult students in public and private security and law enforcement career areas. The curriculum includes but is not limited to: patrol skills, building security, report writing, introduction to Criminal Justice course work, Criminal Procedural Law, Penal Law, basic investigative techniques, civil service exam prep and other topics as needed to prepare students for work in the criminal justice field.SALARY/BENEFITS:Competitive pay and benefits based on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
