Curriculum and Staff Development CoordinatorSupport Services Center, Norwich, NY Assistant Superintendent of Instruction Full-time, 12 months Must hold a valid Permanent or Professional teaching certificate and at least three years of satisfactory teaching experience or an administrator certificate, administrative internship candidates will be considered. Experience as a teacher, experience with successful integration of technology in the classroom, experience with staff development, instructional coaching, assessment design and curriculum improvement activities and working with teams; expertise in presentations and training desired. Selected candidate will provide leadership in programs, practices, and activities leading to the improvement of student outcomes, primarily through implementing instructional technology programs, curriculum and staff development activities, and coaching and training teachers and school administrators. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with districts and vendors to offer innovative solutions, information on current educational research and practice, instructional coaching, and for conducting workshops and sessions in best practices in instruction, technology integration, district and state regulations, and data. This position may include out of town travel and other duties as assigned.
