TITLE: Licensed Teaching Assistant (multiple positions) LOCATION: BOCES wide: openings in Special Education, Career & Technical and Alternative Education classrooms REPORTS TO: Building Principal TERMS: 10 Months, Full-time QUALIFICATIONS: Certified, or eligible to become certified, as a NYS Licensed Teaching Assistant RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES: To carry out the organization of instructional materials as planned and directed by the classroom teacher. To monitor and reinforce skills and concepts previously taught by the teacher in individual or small group learning situations within the educational environment. Supervise students in a Career and Technical Education and/or Special Education program. SALARY/BENEFITS: Competitive pay and benefits based on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
