POSITION: (2) Cleaners - Full Time Probationary Appointment LOCATION: TBD RESPONSIBILITIES: Sweeps, mops, vacuums, washes, walls, dusts and performs other cleaning duties; empties waste and recycling containers, assists in sorting and appropriate disposal; assists custodians in janitorial duties; assists in general maintenance of buildings and grounds when necessary; other related duties as assigned by the building head custodian, building principal or Director of Facilities. REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment; ability to assist custodian in semi-skilled repairs to plumbing, electrical,carpentry or mechanical systems; ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
