Certified School PsychologistImmediate OpeningThe Center for Spectrum Services has an immediate opening for a full-time 10-month certified School Psychologist for our school located in Kingston, NY, Center for Spectrum Services is a New York State approved, not-for-profit, nationally recognized day school program serving toddlers, preschool, and elementary aged students most of whom are on the autism spectrum. Our school is a model of professionals who incorporate applied behavior analytic instructional technique. Our dedication to our student’s success is recognized by New York Stated Education Department as a school with effective practices.Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to:Consult with educational staff regarding learning and behavioral strategiesCoordinate the writing, implementation and review of behavioral interventionsConduct and coordinate functional analysis of behaviorsObserve or participate in classroomEvaluate preschool and school age students as part of a transdisciplinary evaluation or screeningPrepare, participate and present in Annual Review processProvide mandated counseling for studentsCoordinate family support This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a supportive and collaborative team serving preschool and school age children on the autism spectrum.
