Cleary School for the Deaf an opening for a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist to teach in our six-week summer session. The summer session begins on July 1st and ends on August 9th. Primary Responsibilities:Plans, provides, and documents appropriate individualized programs of therapy to meet individual student’s needs in speech, language, and auditory functioning. Serves as a resource to school staff members in the development of auditory, speech and language skills.Keeps thorough, ongoing records for the individual students on their caseload.Qualifications:NYS Certified Teacher of Speech and Language Disabled (TSSLD).Prior experience instructing students who are deaf and/or deaf with disabilities is preferred.Knowledge of ASL preferred.
