Qualified candidates will be responsible for instructing small and large groups in general education. This position will work with elementary students and will assume the responsibilities of planning curriculum, managing a classroom, working with students at multiple levels, professional development, and creating open communication with parents and staff. Responsibilities also include participation with school-wide events. The position is coverage for maternity leave and is expected to run through the end of October, 2022. Pay is per diem and is $154 for certified teachers, $133 for non-certified teachers with a four year degree, and $119 for a teacher with an Associate's Degree. Retired Carthage CSD teachers will be compensated at $175 per day.
