Are you passionate about closing the achievement gap and providing targeted support to help every student succeed? Corinth School District is seeking a dedicated, data-driven educator to join our team as an Intervention Specialist focusing on our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS-I) framework. The Role In this position, you will be a key player in our K-8 instructional system, specifically delivering Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions . You will work with small groups of students to provide intensive, research-based instruction tailored to their specific academic and social emotional needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, evidence-based Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions in literacy and/or mathematics. Monitor student progress using data-driven tools to adjust instruction and interventions to show movement within the MTSS tiers. Collaborate with classroom teachers and the MTSS team to identify student needs and track growth. Special Education Opportunity: For candidates holding Special Education certification, this role would include the opportunity to support students with IEPs through specialized instruction during non-intervention blocks. Qualifications We are looking for versatile educators who understand both explicit and differentiated instruction. In addition to an understanding of the multi-tier-support-system-interventions (MTSS-I). Candidates must hold at least one of the following valid NYS certifications: Special Education Certification (Highly preferred) Elementary Education Certification Reading Specialist Certification Why Join Corinth?
