POSITION: Special Education Summer School Teacher (positions filled contingent on enrollment)LOCATION: Educational Support Services – Regional Summer School (summer school will be held at Schalmont CSD, Schenectady CSD & Schoharie CSD)BASIC FUNCTION: Duties include providing differentiated, direct instruction and remediation for middle and high school courses through implementing the IEP goals and objectives for each student.QUALIFICATIONS:A. NYS Certification in Special Education or Students w/Disabilities 7-12B. Experience preferredRESPONSIBILITIES:1. Assessment, curriculum development, instruction and evaluation of students with handicapping conditions. 2. Curriculum instruction, supervision and evaluation of students in need of credit recovery.3. Students will require content and skills that will assist them in being successful throughout their summer school experience.DATE: July 6, 2022 – August 11, 2022 (dates may change depending on enrollment and State guidelines) Monday thru Thursday @ 2-4 hours each dayThere will be a mandatory training on Tuesday, July 5th from 8AM to 12PM location TBD.
