LOCATION: DistrictHOURS: 2.0 hours per daySALARY: ContractualResponsibilitiesSupervise the conduct and safety of the students in the cafeteria during the lunch period.Oversee and enforce the cafeteria’s rules and expectations, as outlined in the monitor job description.Check areas daily for hazards to the health and safety of the students.Watch for signs of illness or fatigue: Notify the school nurse.Plan with the building principal procedures to be followed in the event of an emergency.Be able to maintain an atmosphere of thoughtful, courteous, and appropriate behavior in the lunchroom.Other responsibilities as required.Cafeteria Monitors work under the direct supervision of the School Lunch Director.
