The Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is seeking a passionate and dedicated New York State (NYS) Certified Art Teacher to join our team in an itinerant role, serving students in the Union Springs and Port Byron school districts. Both districts are located in small rural communities, and share a commitment to providing quality education to students. This is a full-time position, split between the two districts, and requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a passion for teaching Art. Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned curriculum for students in both districts.Adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.Travel between districts as required to fulfill teaching responsibilities.Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.Stay current with best practices in science education and integrate new strategies into lesson plans.Qualifications:Must hold, or be eligible for New York State Certification in Art.
