Employment Opportunity Custodial Worker I Location of the Position: Districtwide Potential Start Date: 07/27/2026 Salary: As per Teamster Local 237 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Position Description: The Center Moriches School District is seeking a dedicated, reliable Custodial Worker I to join our facilities team to work Districtwide. This is a 3 PM to 11 PM position with a Monday thru Friday schedule, ideal for individuals who take pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community. Key Responsibilities Include: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors Dusting furniture and surfaces Cleaning windows, bathrooms, and common areas Moving furniture and equipment as needed Assisting with snow removal and maintaining safe walkways Performing other related custodial duties as assigned We are looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, and understands the importance of maintaining a positive learning environment.
