The Commack School District seeks qualified applicants for the probationary position of: Business Teacher Commack High School Qualifications : New York State Business and Marketing Certification required Professional experience in Finance or Business preferred Working knowledge of Bloomberg Financial and/or Bloomberg Terminals preferred Responsibilities : Plan and facilitate lessons on the foundations of financial literacy to include personal budgeting, smart investment, and help students identify responsible financial literacy decision making Instruct students utilizing Bloomberg Terminals Collaborate with colleagues for classes to promote a deeper understanding of economics Lead and facilitate student learning experiences within advanced coursework, preparing students for the opportunity to sit for Bloomberg certification exams Maintain portal access, terminal accounts, and the day-to-day operations of the finance lab Participate in continued professional development in partnership with Bloomberg
