The Commack School District seeks qualified applicants forthe probationary position of: Financial Literacy TeacherCommack High SchoolQualifications: New York State Business and Marketing Certification or Social Studies Certification requiredProfessional experience in Finance or Business preferredWorking knowledge of Bloomberg Financial and/or Bloomberg Terminals preferred Responsibilities: Plan and facilitate lessons on the foundations of financial literacy to include personal budgeting, debt management, credit, savings, and taxesInstruct students utilizing Bloomberg TerminalsCollaborate with colleagues for classes to promote a deeper understanding of economicsWork to establish a finance career pathway for students who wish to pursue this field of studyMaintain portal access, terminal accounts, and the day-to-day operations of the finance labParticipate in continued professional development in partnership with Bloomberg This is a probationary position commencing in the 2024–2025 school year.
