Cambridge Central School Seeks an Agricultural Education Teacher The Cambridge Central School District is seeking a New York State certified teacher in agriculture education with dual certification in a related science field, along with experience teaching agri-science and advising an FFA program. The selected candidate will commit toBuild a new agriculture curriculum for the DistrictProvide agriculture education instruction for high school gradesOffer middle school technology instructionSupervise students for authentic learning experiences (SAE)Create and advise an active FFA chapterSupport student desires to learn about the depth and diversity of agriculture The selected candidate will be responsible for re-creating an agriculture curriculum that has been absent from the district for nearly thirty years, but will be surrounded by strong programs and ag teachers in neighboring districts who could serve as examples and mentors. The CCS student body has demonstrated a strong interest in agricultural education and they are keenly aware and interested in FFA.
