The Cambridge CSD is seeking qualified applicants for a 1.0 FTE probationary 5th Grade ELA teacher.Qualifications:NYS certified Childhood Education and Literacy (1-6) initial, professional or permanent certificationAdditional certifications desired:Childhood EducationLiteracy (5-12)Early Childhood EducationStudents with disabilities (1-6)Experiences with classroom management, team building, and the following descriptions Program Features: Our 5th Grade team is departmentalized with a teacher responsible for each of the core subject areas as well as providing intervention and enrichment for their homeroom students in mathematics and reading. The team has strong collaboration and integrates all content across the subject areas. The candidate should have a clear understanding of the stages of reading and writing. They should know how to provide research-based instruction within these stages. We currently have a balanced literacy program that includes a rigorous intervention program for all students. All students use technology including the google suite to enhance their learning.
