Secondary Special Education Teacher – Clifton-Fine Central School DistrictThe Clifton-Fine Central School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Secondary Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide individualized instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment that helps students reach their full potential.Located on the western side of the Adirondacks and serving as the gateway to the Five Ponds Wilderness Area, Clifton-Fine Central School District is a small, tight-knit school committed to providing students with a high-quality education. With approximately 250 students, our district values personalized learning, collaboration, and student success.Responsibilities:Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom instruction and accommodations.Conduct assessments, track student progress, and modify instructional strategies to meet learning goals.Support students in developing academic, social, and life skills to enhance independence.Qualifications:New York State Certification: SWD All Grades, SWD Generalist 7-12 or Special Education K-12; or eligibility for certification.Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred but not required.What We Offer:A highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
