Behavior Intervention Specialist Job Description:Qualified candidates must have experience implementing strategies derived from Applied Behavior Analysis in a school setting. Applicants must have approximately 2 years of prior behavior consultation experience with staff for students with behavioral needs across ages and abilities, including students in a general education environment. Candidates must have experiences with crisis intervention, writing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans. Applicants who hold their BCBA or applicants who are working toward their BCBA are preferred. Other Job Requirements that Candidates should be familiar with: Consultation with Special Education and General Education teachers, across grade levels, to develop an inclusive teaching environment in various learning settings. RtI team member experience. Social Skills training experience. . Use of IEP direct.Use of Google Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Word and Excel.
