7-12 Special Education TeacherCharlotte Valley CSD is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as Special Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing specialized support and instruction to students with special needs.Responsibilities include:Planning and delivering effective and engaging lessonsDeveloping and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Adapting lessons to accommodate diverse learning stylesAssessing and monitoring student progressProviding timely and constructive feedback to students and their familiesCreating an inclusive classroom environmentManaging classroom behavior and enforcing school policiesEffectively collaborating with colleaguesProviding opportunities to engage students outside of the classroomKeeping accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performanceQualificationsCandidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS teaching certification in 7-12 Special Education and/or related NYS teaching certification.CompensationThe successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $48,724 to $68,226 plus contractual benefits. DeadlinePosition starting September 3, 2024. Open until filled.
