Charlotte Valley CSD is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as Special Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing specialized support and instruction to students with special needs.Responsibilities include:• Planning and delivering effective and engaging lessons• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)• Adapting lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles• Assessing and monitoring student progress• Providing timely and constructive feedback to students and their families • Creating an inclusive classroom environment • Managing classroom behavior and enforcing school policies• Effectively collaborating with colleagues • Providing opportunities to engage students outside of the classroom• Keeping accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performanceQualifications:Candidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS teaching certification in 7-12 Special Education and/or related NYS teaching certification.Compensation:The successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $50,444 to $68,226 plus contractual benefits. Position starting September 2, 2025. Open until filled.
