Licensed Teaching Assistant (LTA) 2-3 positionsCharlotte Valley CSD is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as a Licensed Teaching Assistant (LTA). The ideal candidate will support classroom activities, assist the teaching in delivering instruction, and contribute to a positive learning environment. Responsibilities include:• Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.• Assist with classroom management and ensure student engagement.• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators.• Prepare instructional materials and resources for lessons.• Help with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and grading.Qualifications:Candidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS LTA certification.Compensation:The successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $19,921-$25,000, based on experience, plus contractual benefits. Position starting September 1, 2025. Open until filled.
