7-12 English TeacherCharlotte Valley CSD is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an English Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reading/writing instruction as well as a passion for teaching and supporting students. Responsibilities include:Planning and delivering effective and engaging lessonsDifferentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of studentsAssessing and monitoring student progressProviding timely and constructive feedback to students and their familiesCreating an inclusive classroom environmentManaging classroom behavior and enforcing school policiesEffectively collaborating with colleaguesProviding opportunities to engage students outside of the classroomKeeping accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performanceQualificationsCandidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS teaching certification in 7-12 English.CompensationThe successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $48,724 to $68,226 plus contractual benefits. DeadlinePosition starting September 3, 2024. Open until filled.
