The successful candidate will work with students with a variety of educational disabilities in an integrated co-teaching setting. Additional duties may include providing resource room and direct consultant teaching support. Expected Attributes:Patience and empathyAdaptability and flexibilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of special education practices Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree for an accredited college or universityNew York State Certification as a special educator (K-12, 1-6 , and preK-12 certifications considered) In addition to applying on OLAS.
