Start date is effective immediately. This position has a 4-year probationary period with Tenure Track. Qualifications and Experience:New York State certification in Students with Disabilities Generalist 7-12 or Special Education (K-12) (teachers with additional subject extensions are encouraged to apply);Experience working with high school students with a variety of disabilities;Experience as a classroom co-teacher preferred;Experience prepping students for Regents preferred;Experience working with colleagues, families, and administrators developing interventions to promote positive behaviorExperience with writing and progress monitoring IEPs.Qualified applicants are expected to upload a cover letter, resume, letters of recommendations, all transcripts and proof of certification to www.olasjobs.org by January 3, 2025.
