Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Plan and deliver high-quality art instruction aligned with New York State Learning Standards for Visual Arts (grades K–6)Foster creativity and art appreciation through a variety of mediums and age-appropriate techniquesProvide academic support to students through small group or push-in/pull-out instructionReinforce reading, writing, and math skills as taught in the general education classroomUse assessment data and teacher collaboration to identify and address student learning needsMaintain a positive and inclusive classroom environmentCommunicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progressParticipate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as required.A commitment to supporting the whole child through both creative expression and academic growth
