Job DescriptionCenter-Based BCBA Come have fun and make a difference in the life of a child at the most rewarding and important job you may ever have! Crossroads Center for Children is located in Rotterdam, NY and offers several different programs for children ages two through twelve. This position involves working collaboratively with special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapist, and teaching assistants in the delivery of quality ABA services in a school setting. Candidates would work alongside seven other skilled behavior analysts in a strong ABA community. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) that follows a school calendar, including a six-week summer program. Candidates must possess: Strong organizational skills Effective time-management skills Strong communication skills A desire to work with individuals with disabilities Strong documentation skills Willingness to learn and apply new skills Dependability Expectations of Board Certified Behavior Analyst: Perform assessments of behavior and develop behavior plans. Train staff in the implementation of behavior plans and conduct regular fidelity checks. Monitor treatment plans and schedule interdisciplinary meetings to review progress. Work collaboratively with families and other service providers. Assist with staff and parent training.
