Sport:Basketball – Modified Girls Head Coach – Level IIIBowling – Varsity Girls Head Coach – Level IVIndoor Track & Field – Assistant Coach – Level IVVolleyball – Modified Girls Head Coach – Level IVWrestling – Modified Boys Head Coach – Level IV Job Description; Unique Information:MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must meet New York State requirements for coaching certification; hold a valid American Red Cross Standard First Aid Certificate.Demonstrate an interest and aptitude for building a successful program in the sport.Notwithstanding the minimum requirements as listed, the Board of Education may waive these qualifications if the applicant appears to have the highest overall level of skills and preparation. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Salary: As established by the negotiated contract with the Camden Teachers AssociationMay be required to hold practices/games over school breaksPerformance and job will be evaluated annually by the Administrator for Interscholastic Athletics BASIC FUNCTIONS:To be knowledgeable of needs and regulations concerning the sport.To enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and oversee penalties for breach of such standards in accordance with the District Interscholastic Athletic Policy.To provide leadership, supervision, and organization of the specific athletic activity.To arrange for a systematic recording of inventory, selection, care and maintenance of equipment.To perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Athletics, Health and Physical Education.
