Minimum Requirements:New York State Certification-Special Education grades 1-6 or K-12.Interstate agreements and qualifications of educational personnel will be honored. Terms of Employment:Compensation per CTA Contract10 months unless otherwise indicated Performance Responsibilities:To provide each child a program of study that meets his/her individual needs, interests and abilities.Case management responsibilities for students to include development and implementation of IEPs, Medicaid, and other relevant special education paperwork.To create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of the students.To guide students’ learning towards the achievement of curricular goals.To perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and Director of Special Education.
