Minimum Requirements:New York State Certification and LicensureTerm of Employment:Compensation per CTA Contract 10 months unless otherwise noted Performance Responsibilities:To provide speech/language development services to students, with a focus on Pre-KindergartenTo assess and evaluate students through IST/CSECase management responsibilities and bill for Medicaid servicesTo provide each child a program of service that meets his/her individual needs, interests and abilities.To create an environment conducive to learning as it applies to a student's IEP.To guide students' learning towards the achievement of curricular goals as it pertains to the students IEP goals for speech/language. To perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education/Director of Pre-K. NYS Certification is required.
