Minimum Requirements:New York State Certification-Special Education 7-12 with emphasis on 7-12 English Language ArtsInterstate agreements and qualifications of educational personnel will be honoredTerms of Employment:Compensation per CTA Contract 10 months unless otherwise indicatedPerformance Responsibilities:To provide each child a program of study that meets his/her individual needs, interests and abilities.Case management responsibilities for students to include development and implementation of IEPs, Medicaid, and other relevant specialist education paperwork. To create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of the students. To guide students' learning towards the achievement of curricular goals.To perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and Director of Special Education
