Social Studies (Gr. 6) - H.C. Crittenden Middle School FULL-TIME PROBATIONARY APPOINTMENT 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR The position of 6th grade Social Studies Teacher requires an educator with extensive teaching experience at the middle school level and a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students. We seek an educator who leads by example, is passionate about their subject, is a content expert, and believes in the importance of developing upstanders. Additionally, we seek someone who understands the beauty of the middle school child and has a strong understanding of teaming and the value of teaming. A special education certification is a plus. Applicants must hold NYS certification: Social Studies 7-12 or Elementary K-6
