The Assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach will support the Byram Hills High School varsity program by assisting in practice planning, skill development, and game preparation. The coach will work closely with the Head Coach to foster a positive, disciplined, and competitive team environment while promoting sportsmanship and teamwork. Responsibilities include helping run practices, providing feedback on player technique and strategy, assisting with game-day management, and maintaining communication with student-athletes, parents, and the athletic department. The assistant coach will contribute to the overall success of the program and help mentor student-athletes both on and off the field. Candidates should have excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for developing high school athletes. Prior coaching or playing experience is preferred but not required.
