John F. Kennedy Middle School is student focused. Everyone works to do what is best for children, socially, emotionally and educationally. The goal is to help students achieve and be the best they can be. The JFK Middle School is a fun place and the Middle School Philosophy is incorporated in everything everyday." We are looking for an Assistant Principal who can compliment what we do for children everyday. Someone who believes that children are always the focus of our decisions and we always need to make decisions based upon what is best for them. The new Middle School Assistant Principal should be someone who is a master teacher who is eager to work with our staff as a team to help implement strategies and pedagogy to meet the individual needs of the students. A person who truly understands the unique needs of middle school students. Bethpage is a wonderful community. The schools are truly community schools and are a center for activities. We engage students in the learning process outside of the school day on weekends and evenings. There is always something for our students to do to enhance their educational experience and help them feel part of a very special place. This intern helps build student confidence and value the importance of community. We have this vacancy because our beloved Middle School Assistant Principal will be the new Principal as of July 1, 2023.
