The Bay Shore School District, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a 6th Grade Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT)/Inclusion position for the 2026–2027 school year. Key responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with general education teachers to support student access to grade-level curriculum. Differentiate instruction using evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions. Maintain accurate documentation, including progress monitoring data on IEP goals and quarterly progress reports. Communication and collaboration with administrators, teachers, related service providers and support staff members. Prepare for and participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, providing progress updates and recommendations.
