ABA paraprofessionals must love working with children who have significant developmental needs, be flexible, responsive, and excited to be part of an educational team. Previous experience working in a developmental special education class is preferred, however not required. All paraprofessionals new to our district will be provided with appropriate training and professional development to be successful and valued members of our special education team. Individuals with a strong interest in becoming special education teachers, or teacher assistants would benefit greatly from employment in this program while working towards their degree.Multilingual candidates and those from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
