Bronxville School DistrictPosition Opening: Junior Varsity Boys Lacrosse CoachThe Bronxville School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated Junior Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach for the upcoming spring season. About Bronxville Athletics:The Bronxville Athletic Department is committed to developing student-athletes who demonstrate integrity, teamwork, and respect both on and off the field. Our programs emphasize personal growth, skill development, and a strong sense of community pride while promoting lifelong habits of health and fitness. Position Overview:The Junior Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach is responsible for leading and developing student-athletes within the Bronxville Lacrosse program. The coach will work collaboratively with the Varsity Head Coach and the Athletic Department to ensure a positive, competitive, and educational experience for all players. Responsibilities Include:Plan and conduct organized practices focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.Teach and reinforce fundamental lacrosse techniques and game strategies.Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team-related activities.Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and the varsity coaching staff.Promote and uphold the values and standards of Bronxville Athletics.Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Qualifications:Prior coaching and/or playing experience in lacrosse (high school or higher level preferred).Strong knowledge of lacrosse rules, skills, and strategies.Ability to model professionalism, respect, and integrity at all times.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).Must meet all NYSPHSAA, Section 1, and Bronxville School District coaching certification requirements. Compensation:Stipend position in accordance with the Bronxville Teachers’ Association contract and experience.
