POSITION: Pathways for Beyond the Bell- Graduation Plus+ Initiative (Teachers)DATE: December 9, 2025Brentwood Union Free School District is proud to introduce Pathways Beyond the Bell, a transformative afternoon program created to reconnect, empower, and guide 10th-grade students who would benefit from additional academic and social-emotional support on their journey toward graduation. We are seeking compassionate, innovative educators and guidance professionals to help students thrive in a supportive, structured environment designed to strengthen core skills, build confidence, and promote academic and personal success.Program ScheduleStart Time: 12:30 PM-5:30PM (Afternoon Program)Mon–Thu: Advisory check-ins, and Core instructionFriday: Intervention, enrichment, counseling workshops, team building, HLA, Resource, Art & Music Electives and field trips Student Support Services will include Daily counselor check-ins, Individual and group counseling, Academic tutoring, Family engagement, Enrichment opportunities as well as Emotional wellness and attendance supportApplications are being accepted for the following position in the 2025/2026 Pathways for Beyond the Bell- Graduation Plus+ Initiative:Certified Teachers for 9th/10th Grade Subjects: Bilingual Math, Biology, Earth Science (M&W or T&TH from 2:15 PM to 5:30 PM)Fri Only HLA, Art & Music Teachers 2:15PM-5:30PM The 2025/2026 anticipated rate for PBB teachers will be at $68.70 per hour. Staff will collaborate weekly to review student progress and guide interventions. Dually certified teachers (SWD, TESOL, ENL/BIL) are encouraged to apply. Specific content teacher positions will be contingent upon need.
