BRENTWOOD UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICTBRENTWOOD, NY POSITION: Digital Content & Website Coordinator IT Department REPORTS TO: Director of Information Tech & Libraries RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision of the Director of Technology, this employee will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and continuous updating of the district website and associated graphics. Works collaboratively to develop content, create new graphics, and modify existing graphics files on the district website. Minimum Requirements: NYS SDL or School District Administrator CertificateProven experience in Graphics & Website Management, editing graphics (including GIF & jpeg images) and diagnosis of technical problems. Comprehensive knowledge of internet literature, design concepts, site development & ADA compliance.Ability to establish satisfactory working relationships with employees and the general public. Job Description: Work collaboratively to maintain and update the district website for ease of navigation and to ensure that all information is current, accurate and accessible. Converts hardcopy documents into website content for use on web pages. Collaborates with the department and Director of Technology to coordinate and maintain consistency of agency design concepts and objectives on website.Provides presentations and/or training sessions regarding site content or development.Liaison with technical support personnel in reference to website projects. Ensure website meets all ADA requirements. Keeps abreast of internet literature, merging trends and technologies for site integration.Completes all related work and duties as required or assigned by the Director of Technology.
