Art/Visual Arts Teacher Qualifications: Must hold Art/Visual Arts CertificationSuccessful public school teaching experience preferred Responsibilities: To assist students and teachers to facilitate access to information on a wide variety of art techniques and developmentally appropriate art instruction. To instruct students and teachers on the proper use and maintenance of materials, equipment and tools and monitor proper use. To introduce elementary, middle or high school students to art with the aim of creating an interest in all forms of art. Plan lessons and projects and make sure sufficient art supplies and tools for all students are available.
