Assignment Location: K-12 (District Wide)Appointment Status: Full time (1.0 FTE + 10 days in the summer). Summer days to be coordinated as mutually agreed upon. Qualifications: Valid NYS teaching certification required. ELA, Math, Reading, Literacy, or Elementary certification preferred. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and Masters degrees is required. Description: The Teacher on Special Assignment - under the direct supervision of the Superintendent, serves as a leader in the areas of technology integration and curriculum and instruction. Primary responsibilities include: Provides support to staff for Educational Technology integration and data management. Works with principals to mentor and coach teachers on researched based instructional practices to promote student achievement. Collects and analyzes state assessment data to identify trends and priority areas of focus. Collaborates with building and district leaders to implement professional development. As directed, initiates/leads professional development opportunities. May assist families with access to school technology platforms Salary/Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience and level of education (per the BTA contract).Start Date: July 28, 2025
