Qualifications:NYS certification in Childhood Education 1-6/Early Childhood Education Birth - Grade 2, Dual certification preferred. Experience in teaching elementary mathematics is preferred. Performance Responsibilities:Ability to analyze student data, diagnose area of need for intervention and specific skill/strategy teaching, prescribe intervention and progress monitor interventionAbility to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrationAbility to navigate assessments and utilize dataA strong understanding of the MTSS model and effective interventions at all Tiers. Create goals and objectives with teachers for Tier II and III interventions and maintain appropriate documentation for eachRegularly progress monitor students to evaluate effectiveness of interventions Provide direct and guided instruction as informed by assessment dataReinforce strategies used in the general instruction program, focusing on gaps identified through analysis of student assessment data.Serve as a member of the MTSS team
