Go to: https://www.briarcliffschools.org/departments/human-resources/job-opportunities and select "Click Here To Apply"About the Role: The Elementary Literacy Intervention Teacher will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 reading interventions, working directly with students who require additional literacy instruction beyond the core classroom experience. This educator will collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to design and implement instruction tailored to student needs. Key Responsibilities/Qualifications: Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with reading disabilities or IEPs Proven ability to deliver evidence-based Tier 2 and Tier 3 literacy interventions aligned to student needs through small group and individual instruction Experience with implementing a systematic, multi-sensory approach to teaching reading Deep understanding of instructional best practices in literacy that are aligned to the science of reading Commitment to student-centered, inclusive literacy practices that address the social-emotional and academic development of each learner Familiarity with universal screeners, diagnostic assessments, and progress monitoring tools Ability to analyze student data to inform instruction and monitor progress Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to develop plans for targeting student needs and integrating literacy interventions within the classroom Ability to effectively communicate with families about student progress and strategies for home support About Our Community and School: Briarcliff Manor is a vibrant community of approximately 8,000 residents located in Westchester County, New York.
