Within the K-5 structure, the program is divided into two specialized levels: the K-2 program and the 3-5 program. Both levels emphasize a language-rich educational approach led by dually certified educators in special education and either speech-language therapy or behavior analysis. This ensures that each child receives individualized support tailored to their unique communication, sensory, and developmental needs, fostering growth both academically and socially. Classrooms across both programs are thoughtfully designed with sensory-friendly components, enabling students to engage with learning materials in ways that align with their sensory preferences. Students benefit from regular access to Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) services every other day, supporting physical, cognitive, and emotional development. The K-2 Communication Program focuses on foundational academic and communication skills in a nurturing and structured environment. Students participate in daily social skills training to develop effective communication strategies and build meaningful friendships. The 3-5 program builds upon the foundations established in K-2 program, providing students with opportunities to further enhance their academic, communication, and social skills. Instruction becomes increasingly tailored to foster independence and prepare students for continued successBoth levels prioritize inclusivity through a buddy class model, allowing students to interact with mainstream peers by joining general education classes and reverse integration.Program Highlights:It is divided into a K-2 and a 3-5 Communication Program that is aimed at meeting individual developmental needs.
