Ideal Qualifications of a Candidate: Works productively and collaboratively with the faculty, students, and parents Develops and implements instructional materials suitable for instruction of students with a wide range of academic and social-emotional needs Understands and aligns instruction with IEP program goals and student outcomes Evaluates academic and social-emotional growth of students, maintaining appropriate records as needed Identifies students’ social-emotional needs, collaborating with colleagues in helping students solve academic and social-emotional problems Demonstrates experience co-teaching a variety of high school courses; second certification in addition to Students With Disabilities is a plus .The Briarcliff Manor School District has embarked on a journey to foster a more inclusive and equitable organization.
