The Bolton Central School District is accepting applications for the position of Cook/ManagerDuties include:Prepares, cooks food and supervises work in a school lunch room. Provides day-to-day supervision of kitchen staff in preparation and serving of food, storage and care of food and supplies, of cleaning and care of the kitchen and equipment; maintain production, receiving, inventory, purchasing, labor and budget records; review and approve invoices; finalize menus. Trains subordinate personnel.Minimum Qualifications:Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma plus two years of college with degree in food service administration, dietetics, nutrition, or related field, plus one year of full time experience in large scale food production, including six months as supervisor; or three years full time experience in large scale food production, including six months as a supervisor. Knowledge of Child Nutrition program is a plus.This position works an annual schedule based on 200 calendar days with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.Salary commensurate with experience.
