Start Date: FlexibleSalary: $19.00 per hourAbility to also work and support students with varied academic needsResponsibilities:- Assist the special education teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with developmental disabilities- Support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment- Assist with classroom management and organization- Support students with personal care needs, if requiredExperience:- Previous experience working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities, is preferred- Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse learning needs and stylesSkills:- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals- Patience and empathy when working with students who may have challenging behaviors or special needs- Organizational skills to assist in maintaining a structured and supportive learning environment
