The Bedford Central School District is seeking a Tiered Support Long Term Substitute Teacher for Mount Kisco Elementary School. Anticipated Duration: May through June 2026. Position Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years successful classroom experience; Experience with Response to Intervention Extensive coursework in the fundamentals of reading instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, and language development; Training in structured literacy approach to teaching reading; Spanish speaking and/or bilingual certified preferred. Certification Required: NYS Certification Childhood Education, K-6 or 1-6; Bilingual Extension preferred but not required. Candidates should apply on OLAS by April 28, 2026. Daily rate of $175 a day.
