The Bedford Central School District is seeking aTiered Support Leave Replacement Teacher, BilingualMount Kisco Elementary School.Anticipated Duration: November 10, 2025 start date through June 26, 2026. Position Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years successful classroom experience;Experience with Response to InterventionExtensive coursework in the fundamentals of reading instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, and language development;Training in structured literacy approach to teaching reading;Versed in administering and analyzing a variety of screeners and diagnostic assessments.Extensive knowledge of K-5 skills progression in mathematics;Extensive repertoire of effective teaching strategies;Effective use of data (collection, analysis and use);Proven collaborator with history of building positive connections with students, families, and faculty;Strong communication skills;Reading Certification and/or Dual Certification in Special Education a plusFluency in Spanish required. Certification Required: NYS Certification Childhood Education, K-6 or 1-6;Bilingual Extension Required. Candidates should apply on OLAS by October 21, 2025. Salary starting at $78,301 or higher commensurate upon experience.
